Philplast introduced two new standards – ISO 14001 for environmental management and ISO 45001 for worker health and safety.
As a result of considerable effort, the company significantly improved internal processes to reach better levels of environmental protection. Improvements were mainly focused on collecting, storage and transfer of recyclable waste, with the goal of reaching the highest possible rate of recycling and reduce improper waste segregation.
Special attention was also paid to the worker adherence to all regulations and recommendations for health and safety. Additionally, the working environment was optimized to reduce the opportunities for violating the safety regulations by both employees and visitors.
