The assembly department has its first robotic addition – a machine for automated assembly of plastic articles to adhesive parts. The machine uses a vibrating bunker to orient the plastic articles correctly and position them on a transporting line. With the help of small vacuum handles the parts are lifted from the line and placed over the adhesive tape, after which the tape is automatically cut and the finished goods are ready for packaging.

This is the first assembly automation at Philplast, and the experience gained can be utilized in new projects for automated simple assembly of projects with high annual quantities.
